Chris and Dianne - Samba
Timing and synchronicity brilliant. Loved the choreography and characterisation. Posture improves each week, better footwork would control the bounce but a good job.
Pete and Jowita - Viennese Waltz
Very good opening out of hold. Once in hold it looked rushed and the transitions could have been better. Loved story and character.
Montell & Jojo - Cha cha cha
Too flat in the feet but nice straight legs. Great timing throughout and very dynamic. Loved the hip action and dress helped emphasise it.
Punam and Gorka - Tango
Characterisation and intensity very good. Frame could be better, and she needs to lower down in the legs and use her core because in places she was running on the toes to keep up with Gorka.
Wynne & Katya - Salsa
Rhythm and timing very good. armology I liked and the lifts were great. A little more compact in the legs would be nice.
JB & Amy - Slow Foxtrot
Again nice characterisation and timing. In this dance the moving leg needs to tract under the body and past the standing leg which he lost in places. But he lead well and transferred well from different parts of the character.
Tasha & Aljaz - Samba
Great rhythm and timing to a really bad samba song. A good bounce action and hip action. I loved the story and character and the full on samba content.
Shayne & Nancy - Paso Doble
Took too-long before he started dancing just waving the baton around but he did it amazingly.
He character was wonderful and timing great but the paso was lacking, and body shape was all wrong for paso.
Jamie & Michelle - American Smooth
Timing and characterisation brilliant with list of glide. Hold was great loved the lifts. The story and Choreography was amazing.
Sarah & Vito - Argentine Tango
Very cleaver choreography, great lifts lovely storytelling, But Argentine is supposed to be a reaction to the lead and I felt she didn’t look like she was reacting in places
Sam & Nakita - Jive
Loved this routine
Nice flicks and kicks especially at the beginning. Odd mistakes her and there and armology not great but much improved on other weeks.
